    Partial wall calendar for the year 1939. "Ships that Sailed the Seven Seas" Calendar belonged to Tom Stevens. Contains months of August through December. Each month has a color illustration of a ship under sail. Vessels captioned with title and date. Last page of Calendar has a paragraph of information on each illustration, the artist, and vessel history. Published by the Provident Mutual Life Insurance Company of Philadelphia.

    Four page promotional booklet for a sailboat named "Wood-Pussy" (believe it or not). Pages contain description, dimensions, equipment and price. Paper insert (typed break out of all costs) folded inside. Booklet and the insert have an ink stamp "The Essex Boat Works, Inc./Foot of Ferry Street, Essex, Connecticut/ Phone Essex 7234". The designer and maker of the sailboat is listed on the front and back.
